How offline Gold works

Robots assigned to vault slots continue producing Gold while you are logged out. Gold is still raw ore — it does nothing until you visit the Smelter and convert it into Cash. The most common silent loss in the game is returning to a huge Gold pile, opening the roll podium, and forgetting to smelt.

Offline income scales with:

• How many slots are filled
• Effective DPS of those robots (base × mutation × personal upgrades)
• Robot Damage board level
• Robot Battery / uptime behavior
• Vault difficulty you can actually chip while AFK
• Later, Vault Gold Value once clears are already healthy

Empty slots earn nothing. A single mutated carry with Battery support often beats three idle Commons.

Logout checklist (do this every time)

Before you close Roblox:

1. Fill every slot with the best tanks you own — no decorative empties.
2. Prefer mutated or high-DPS keepers in those slots (Tier List, Best Robots).
3. Confirm Robot Damage is not severely behind the current vault.
4. Confirm Robot Battery is funded enough that robots are not constantly idle.
5. Optionally push one more slot purchase if Cash is sitting unused.
6. Leave fusion projects and Index shopping for the next session — AFK needs DPS, not podium browsing.
7. Redeem live Codes if you have not already, so Cash/Gems are available when you return.

Why Battery and slots matter so much

Slots multiply how many robots work while you sleep. One upgrade that opens another pad can outweigh a vanity re-roll.

Battery protects uptime. If robots spend half the night recharging or stalled, your offline Gold graph collapses even when Damage looks fine on paper. Early priority remains Damage → Battery (Upgrades); for AFK specifically, never let Battery lag multiple tiers behind Damage.

Luck and Roll Spots help future sessions find better keepers, but they do not raise tonight’s offline Gold directly. Buy them with surplus Cash after the AFK board is solid.

Return ritual: smelt first

When you log back in:

1. Walk straight to the Smelter and convert Gold → Cash.
2. Glance at Cash totals before touching the podium.
3. Buy any empty slots you can afford.
4. Top up Robot Damage or Battery if clear speed felt weak before logout.
5. Apply Mutation Cores if Gems (including UPDATE) allow and a true keeper is parked.
6. Only then re-roll for Index uniques or fusion duplicates.

AFK board building tips

• Park your highest effective DPS lineup, not your newest Index flex.
• After island two, prefer fused keepers that already beat raw duplicates (Robot Fusion).
• Mutate the overnight carry before mutating temporary fillers (Mutations).
• If you are mid island unlock, finish the Islands Cash buffer plan before a long AFK so you do not wake up stuck on a vault you cannot break.
• During Bosses-themed difficulty spikes, favor raw DPS and Battery over collection experiments (Bosses).

Multi-day break: Expect a large Gold pile. Smelt in chunks if needed, then execute a full upgrade pass before Index grinding so the next offline period starts stronger.

• Logging out with empty slots
• Leaving a Common filler in the carry slot while a mutated Rare sits in inventory
• Buying Vault Gold Value instead of Battery before a long AFK
• Returning and re-rolling before smelting
• Unlocking a new island at zero Cash, then going AFK on an unbeatable vault

Session templates that include AFK

Evening play + overnight: Play → smelt → upgrade Damage/Battery → set best board → logout. Morning → smelt → slots/Damage → codes check → play.

Workday micro-check: Lunch login → smelt only → optional one upgrade → logout again without touching rolls.
